The student conference portion of the Richard Frucht Memorial Lecture Series will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023. We are currently considering undergraduate and graduate podium and poster abstracts from all four fields of anthropology for conference sessions. Our conference will be hybrid, meaning podium presentations can be delivered in-person or remotely.

 

The deadline for abstract submission is: Friday, February 24, 2023.

Presenter Guidelines

(1) Podium presentations (in-person or hybrid)

• Presentations should be no longer than 12-minutes in length (leaving ~3 minutes for audience questions) 

​

(2) Poster presentations (in-person, printed posters)

• Posters should not exceed 48 x 36 inches

• Ensure all text is large enough to be read from 4-6 feet away

​

(3) Film and media (in-person or hybrid)

• Short films and other multimedia presentations on an anthropological topic are also welcome

• These contributions should not exceed 15 minutes
